Kate is a trauma-informed integrative practitioner who employs a blend of therapeutic approaches to support individuals (18+ years) experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, family and relationship conflicts, toxic workplace environments, low self-esteem, and identity issues.
Kate has significant experience working with a diverse population of clients, drawing upon skills and knowledge developed over the past 30 years in the arts and cultural sector as well as in post-secondary settings. Her ongoing training, counselling experience, and interest in evidence-based and holistic approaches to wellness inform her practice.
Equally dedicated to cultural humility and anti-oppressive practices, Kate is grounded in understanding how systems of oppression impact lives. She maintains a non-biased, non-judgmental, and inclusive space for individuals wishing to address any issues that hold them back from embracing their true potential and experiencing a fulfilling, vibrant, and authentic life.
